The world of Simpsons bootlegs is a storied and sometimes weird place. Enter Chicago rapper CupcakKe with her new song dedicated to the matriarchal figure of the beloved Springfield family. "Marge Simpson" features some Simpsons references ("Money stack up so tall, look like the hair on Marge Simpson") and, in classic CupcakKe fashion, plenty more to make you blush.

The video for the song catches CupcakKe in full Marge cosplay, blue hair and all. Check it out below.

"Marge Simpson" is the latest release from CupcakKe following recent singles “Mickey,” “Mosh Pit,” “Moonwalk,” and “Huhhhhh.”

CupcakKe has shared another new single. This one’s called “Huhhhhh.” It’s produced by Fantom.
The Chicago rapper has already released a number of tracks this year, such as “Mickey,” “Mosh Pit,” and “Moonwalk.” Both “Mosh Pit” and “Mickey” arrived with music videos, the former of which starred CupcakKe and a crew of gun-toting women.
CupcakKe’s most recent studio album Eden was came out in 2018, 10 months after she dropped Ephorize the same year.
Listen to “Huhhhhh.” below.

Last September, CupcakKe announced her intention to quit music, saying she felt like she was “corrupting the youth”.

“I have people of all ages – 10, 11 years old – coming to my shows and I feel as though I’m corrupting them with my songs,” she said. “And I don’t wanna do it no more.”

CupcakKe’s “Mosh Pit” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Song Sales Chart

CupcakKe’s latest single is making a strong early impact on the US iTunes store.
As of press time at 3PM ET Friday, her “Mosh Pit” is #1 on the store’s all-genre song sales chart. “Mosh Pit” seized the throne from Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” which is now #2 on the list.  Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open” (#3), Masked Wolf’s “Astronaut In The Ocean” (#4), and Gabby Barrett’s “The Good Ones” (#5) complete the Top 5.
Recently, the rapper spoke about how she doesn’t want to be perceived as sexual as she did in her past on Instagram live. On video she talked about how she felt like she had to say outlandish things just to get people to listen to her music, even though it was the opposite of her personality. Later, she hinted at the discrepancy in Black women’s actions versus white women’s actions because of misogynoir when she said “why the white person don’t gotta do that? You know what I’m saying? Like, why the white person don’t gotta get online and put a dick in her ass, you know, suck a dick just for muthafuckas to start listening to their music?”

The music video for “Mosh Pit” is out now on Youtube, which can be seen above. You can also stream or purchase the single on all online music platforms.
